South African batsman David Miller says he is excited to be a part of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

 

On Friday, the PSL's Twitter account released a video statement from David Miller, in which he said, 'I just wanted to let you guys know that I am very excited to be a part of the PSL starting in February. are excited.'

David Miller called the PSL 'one of the best' leagues in the world. The South African batsman will be a part of Multan Sultans this time.

The draft of players for the eighth edition of PSL was held on Thursday in the coastal city of Karachi, in which six teams selected 61 domestic and foreign players.

More than 500 foreign players and more than 450 Pakistani players were included in the players' draft.

In the first pick of the PSL draft, Lahore Qalandars took Fakhar Zaman in the platinum category while Quetta Gladiators bought Sri Lanka's star T20 player Vinandu Hasaranga in the platinum category.

Multan Sultans wanted to take Naseem Shah in platinum category but Quetta Gladiators refused to give him but Multan Sultans took David Miller of South Africa.

Karachi Kings made up for the lack of a wicketkeeper by adding Australia's Matthew Wade while Islamabad United added star English player Alex Hales to their team in the first pick.

Peshawar Zalmi has bagged Sri Lankan batsman Bhanuka Rajapaksa in the platinum category and West Indian player Rowman Powell in the second platinum category.

In the first pick of PSL's diamond category, Islamabad United has drafted Afghanistan's Fazlul Haq Farooqui into the team.

Peshawar Zalmi also picked Afghan player Mujeebur Rehman in the Diamond One category, while defending champions Lahore Qalandars picked all-rounder Hussain Talat using a wild card in the Diamond Pick.

 

Quetta Gladiators have picked West Indian player Odin Smith in the Diamond One pick.

Karachi Kings bought English batsman James Vince in the team in the first pick of the diamond category, while in the second pick of the diamond category, England's James Fuller has also been taken in the team.

Quetta Gladiators added Abdulwahid Bengalzai and Amil Khan while Lahore Qalandars added Ashweez Irfan to the team.
